Bright Jumper Day is a fun and simple fundraiser where teams wear their brightest jumpers on their chosen day during the month of August (when it’s cold!) for a gold coin donation, all to support Treasure Boxes – a local charity that provides essential items to babies, children and families experiencing hardship across South Australia.
– It’s Easy: Choose a day in the month of August, promote it, and wear something bright!
– It’s Fun: Bring colour and energy into your school or uni – with a feel-good purpose.
– It’s Local: Funds go directly to families doing it tough in your local community.
– It Builds Heart: Students gain valuable insight into reality, equity, empathy and the power of giving.
– It Builds Skills: Student leaders can take the lead in planning, promotion, and fundraising.
1. Pick a Date – Choose any day during the month of August.
2. Promote It – We’ll provide posters and social media content.
3. Wear Bright! – Jumpers, cardigans, vests, beanies – the brighter the better.
4. Donate – Gold coin donations go directly to helping local families in crisis.
